GrooveSquad was originally formed in 2014, after the three musicians have been playing together in other bands and realized how much they had musically in common. The whole project was about experimenting with groove music, playing originals that mixed jazz, funk, fusion, often in odd meters and rhythms.

After a couple of active years (and lots of fun!), life and other musical endeavors unfortunately put this band on the wayside. But it has reunited in 2021 and is now rehearsing and preparing new material.
