Αρμονικά υπάρχουν επιρροές από τα blues ως τον Debussy, ρυθμικά από το swing μέχρι το funk και τον Herbie Hancock, αλλά και πολλοί μονοί ρυθμοί και ασυνήθιστες φόρμες. Τα μέλη του γρουπ ατομικά έχουν συνεργαστεί με διεθνώς γνωστούς μουσικούς (Jason Yard, Shawn Corbie, Sheila Jordan).
